how to solve for x:

500e^(0.3x) = 600

Steps please.

  • Precalc -

    First divide 500 from both sides
    Leaving e^.3x=1.2
    Take ln e^.3x=Ln1.2
    .3x ln e^.3x=ln1.2 (note:ln e=1
    .3x=ln 1.2
    x=(ln 1.2/.3)
    x=.60774
