Solve by using the multiplication principle

-2x> 1 over 9
I have tried this problem and can get no where with it can someone please help me????

To solve the inequality -2x > 1/9 using the multiplication principle, there are a few steps you need to follow:

Step 1: Flip the inequality sign. When multiplying or dividing both sides of an inequality by a negative number, you need to flip the inequality sign. Therefore, the inequality becomes 2x < -1/9.

Step 2: Divide both sides of the inequality by the coefficient of x. In this case, divide both sides by 2:

2x / 2 < (-1/9) / 2.
This simplifies to:
x < -1/18.

So, the solution to the inequality -2x > 1/9 is x < -1/18.

Hope this helps!
