I need the definition of Ecclectic theory in adult devlopement. I know it is a part of all theories related to adult developement but can't find a definition.

Eclectic theories can vary from person to person. It essentially indicates that the theory used takes elements of various theories to fuse into their personal theory. Which elements are used can vary from person to person. Even nonpsychologists have theories of human nature, which usually combine elements from various sources.
