Where is Greenland on Pangaea?

See the large "island" north of NAmerica? That becomes Greenland.

Note, it wasn't an island at that time, but you can see where it broke off as an island plate.

Greenland, as we know it today, did not exist in the same form during the time of Pangaea. Pangaea was a supercontinent that existed approximately 335 to 175 million years ago. Greenland, as a landmass, formed much later. To locate Greenland's position on Pangaea, we would need to consider the geological history and movement of tectonic plates.

To determine where Greenland would have been on Pangaea, we need to examine the process of continental drift. Over millions of years, the Earth's tectonic plates have moved and continue to move, causing continents to shift positions. Greenland, or parts of it, were present during the formation of Pangaea, but it was in a different location.

Based on scientific reconstructions, it is believed that Greenland would have been located near the present-day Atlantic coast of North America. Specifically, the northeastern part of Greenland would have been positioned near what is now the region of Labrador and Newfoundland in Canada.
