Diven the data 3.5,1.6,2.4,3.7,4.1,3.9,1.0,3.6,4.2,3.4,3.7,2.2, and using the range rule of thumb, what is the standard deviation?

Range = approx. 4 times SD
Calculate range and divide by 4.
