Faith earned 1/3 of her allowance from washing the dishes and 1/6 of her allowance from cleaning her room. How much of Faith $36 allowance was not earned from washing the dishes or cleaning room?

    Washing dishes is 2/6 and Cleaning her room is still 1/6.
    2/6 + 1/6 = 3/6 which is 1/2.
    Half was made washing dishes and cleaning room. The other half was made from other chores.

    36/2 = 18.
