What is the greatest possible product of a 2-digit and a 1-digit number? Explain how you know

    The greatest 2 digit = 99
    The greatest 1 digit = 9

    Thus: 99 x 9 = 891 = 3 digits?

    Too easy to be true huh? I'm not sure if there are other ways of doing this.
