for the sequence:1,6,11,16,...,the 50th term would be:

  • math -

    term 2 = term 1 + 5
    term 3 = term 1 + 2*5
    term 4 = term 1 + 3*5
    term 5 = term 1 + 4*5

    term 50 = term 1 + 49*5 = 1 + 245 = 246
