If a goalie faces an 80mph slap shot hit from 40 feet away, how much time is there before puck arrives at the net (5280ft= 1 mile)
If the goalie requires half of the above time to complete his move to deflect the puck, how much time does the goalie have to react?

80 mi / 3600 s * 5280 ft/mi = 117.3 ft/s.
t = d/r = 40 / 117.3 = 0.34 s.
2. 0.34 / 2 = 0.17 s.
