is breaking an egg a chemical or physical change?

is cooking an egg a chemical or physical change?

Breaking an egg is a physical change. We still have shell (but broken in pieces now) and we still have egg yolk and egg white bit those are now outside th shell.

Cooking an egg is a chemical change. We have changed the chemical composition of the yolk an the egg white.

It is a physical change as because we still have the egg yolk and it's white broken bits which can again be arranged and as the chemical composition of the egg does not change it is a physical change.

THANK YOU

This was very helpful, thank you!

Can anyone, a experienced person tell whether breaking of an egg is chemical or a physical change.. Coz no one has given a expected answer... Plz do it with interest coz if you don't know it don't reply... Someone has put tested, someone has put cooking.. What is all that.. So plz reply.. Thank you

IT IS VERY NICE

I think it is a chemical change because egg can be joined in pieces but it will remain broken egg only we can't joint it as it was, so it is a chemical change

Tested

Breaking an egg is a physical change. Physical changes are those that alter the appearance or form of a substance without changing its chemical composition. Breaking an egg simply causes it to split into different pieces, but the chemical components of the egg remain the same.

Cooking an egg, on the other hand, is a chemical change. Chemical changes involve a transformation of the substance's composition, resulting in the formation of new substances with different properties. When an egg is cooked, the heat causes the proteins in the egg to denature, combining with water and undergoing chemical reactions that change its texture and taste. This transformation cannot be reversed, indicating a chemical change.
