Find the equation for the line with the following.
parallel to the line 8x+7y=-7 and containing the point (7,-7)
Since it it parallel the equation would have to have 8x, right? Then im not sure what to do.
m1 = m2 = -A/B = -8/7, (7 , -7).
Y = mx + b,
-7 = (-8/7)7 + b,
-7 = -8 + b,
b = 1,
Eq: y = (-8/7)x + 1.
