what is 5c=2/3 divided by 2/3

5c=2/3 divided by 2/3

5c = (2/3)*(3/2)
5c = 6/6 = 1
c = 1/5

It equals niga cat

I thought I was supposed to put a 1 under the 5 in "5c" and then multiply it's reciprocal and I did that and I got 2/15 divided by 2/3. My teacher says that you can never divide a fraction. Please help

What does c equal??

I dont get it.

To solve the equation 5c = (2/3) ÷ (2/3), we need to simplify the expression on the right side of the equation.

Step 1: Simplify the fraction on the right side:
To divide fractions, we multiply the first fraction by the reciprocal of the second fraction. In this case, we have (2/3) ÷ (2/3), which is the same as (2/3) * (3/2).

Step 2: Multiply the numerators and denominators:
Multiplying the numerators (2 * 3) gives 6, and multiplying the denominators (3 * 2) gives 6. So, (2/3) ÷ (2/3) is equal to 6/6.

Step 3: Simplify the resulting fraction:
Since the denominator and numerator are the same (both equal to 6), the fraction 6/6 simplifies to 1.

So, the equation 5c = (2/3) ÷ (2/3) simplifies to 5c = 1.

Now, to find the value of c, we need to isolate it on one side of the equation. We can do this by dividing both sides of the equation by 5.

Step 4: Divide both sides of the equation by 5:
Dividing 5c by 5 gives c, and dividing 1 by 5 gives 1/5. Thus, the equation 5c = 1 simplifies to c = 1/5.

Therefore, the solution to the equation 5c = (2/3) ÷ (2/3) is c = 1/5.
