-5+10y=neg30 what is the anser?

  • algebra -

    -5+10y=-30
    30y=-25
    y=-2.5

  • algebra -

    add 5 on both side:
    (-5+10y)+5=(-30)+5

    30y=-25

    divide 30 on both side:
    (30y)/30=(-25)/30

    y=(-25)/30

    now reduce the fraction!
