b) If two numbers have a least common multiple (LCM) of 2, it means that 2 is the smallest positive integer that is divisible by both numbers.

In other words, when you find the factors of both numbers, the only common factor they have is 2. The numbers themselves can have other factors as well, but 2 will always be a common factor between them.
b) If two numbers have a least common multiple (LCM) of 2, it means that 2 is the smallest positive integer that is divisible by both of the numbers. In other words, when you find the multiples of both numbers, 2 will be the smallest common multiple between them. The numbers themselves can have other multiples as well, but 2 will always be a common multiple between them.
