Journal Entry - December 10th, 1620
Today marked our arrival at the Plymouth Colony, after a long and treacherous journey across the Atlantic. As a member of Bradford's colony, I find myself in awe of the surrounding landscape, grateful for our safe arrival, and full of hope for the new land that lies before us.
However, the presence of these pirates amongst us brings a certain uneasiness. They are a wild and unruly bunch, unlike anything I have ever encountered before. Their boisterous laughter and rough demeanor contrasts sharply with the calm and disciplined nature of our Puritan community.
What shocks me the most about these surly characters is their lack of regard for authority. They seem to live by their own set of rules, acting without any consideration for the consequences of their actions. Their rowdy behavior, constant fights, and reckless drinking are a stark contrast to the strict discipline and moral values we hold dear.
