to DrBob222 wouldn't it be like this then 4.86L/12.75kg*1000cm^3/1L*(1kg/1000g)^3

I don't think so. You didn't follow my directions??

Change 4.86 L to cc.
4.86 L x (1000 cc/1 L) = 4860 cc.

mass = 12.75 kg.
12.75 kg x (1000 g/1 kg) = 12750 g.

density = mass/volume
d = 12750 g/4860 cc = ??

You may or may not have converted correctly but you have the volume in the numerator and not the denominator so you started wrong. I can't tell about the conversions because you didn't use parentheses.
4.86L/12.75kg*1000cm^3/1L*(1kg/1000g)^3
