If a pro basketball player has a vertical leap of 25 inches, what is his hang time? Use the hang time function V = T^2

Hang time is _________ seconds. Simplify the answer. Type an integer or a decimal Round to the nearest tenth.

The answer I came up with is .52 seconds. Can anyone verify that I am right or wrong?

    If V = T^2, assuming V = vertical leap and T= time

    25 = T^2

    5 = T
