Ferns are part of the classification of pteropsida.

They produce spores n their body is gametophyte right? so wat does that mean and can they also be called pteridophytes?

The term "pteropsida" is an outdated and no longer used classification. It was previously used to refer to a group of plants that included ferns and certain other related species. However, modern botanical classification systems have replaced the term "pteropsida" with more specific and accurate categories.

Ferns, on the other hand, are a specific group of vascular plants that belong to the division Pteridophyta. They are characterized by their leaves, which are called fronds, and their reproduction through spores instead of seeds.

To find information on the differences between ferns and other plant groups, it might be more helpful to search for comparisons between ferns and other related plant divisions, such as gymnosperms (e.g., conifers) or angiosperms (flowering plants), rather than specifically searching for "pteropsida."
