Common sense should tell you the answers to some of these.
    a.
    CH3CH2CH2CH2CH2CH2CH2CH2CH3

    b. It boils at 151 C. Room temperature is about 25 C. What do you think?

    c. Nonane is a hydrocarbon and non-polar. H2O is a polar solvent. What do you think? Note that you want to know if it is soluble. There is no such word as soluable.

    d. Nonane has a density of 0.79 g/mL. Water has a density of 1.0 g/mL. What do you think.
