Sample Size and Significance
Why is it important to learn what sample size was used in a study in which no statistica difference was found?
1 answer
The smaller the sample (n), the less likely that statistical significance will be obtained. Significance might be obtained with a larger sample. Whether a statistically significant finding might be practically significant is another question.
