I am trying to find 2010 Census results for Tucson; specifically population results. Every census.gov link that comes up does not work. Any ideas where I can find the information?

Thank you!

You haven't found this information because it's not available yet. The formal 2010 census report will be published in December.

I feel a little silly. Thank you :)

You're welcome. :-)

If you're having trouble accessing the Census Bureau's website for the 2010 Census results for Tucson, there are a few alternative options you can try to find the information you are looking for:

1. American FactFinder (no longer available): In the past, the Census Bureau's American FactFinder tool was used to access census data. However, it has been retired and is no longer available.

2. Data.census.gov: The Census Bureau has launched a new data platform called data.census.gov, where you can search and access various types of data, including census information. You can visit the website at https://data.census.gov and follow these steps:
a. Enter "Tucson" in the search bar.
b. Filter the results to select the "2010" Census.
c. Explore the available datasets for detailed population results.

3. Census Bureau's FTP site: The Census Bureau provides alternative access to their data through FTP (File Transfer Protocol). You can access the FTP site at ftp://ftp2.census.gov and navigate through the directories to find the 2010 Census results for Tucson. Look for the relevant files in the appropriate geographic area.

4. Local libraries: Your local library may have resources or access to data from the 2010 Census. Reach out to the reference desk or archives section of your library to inquire about their collection or resources.

5. Open Data portals: Some cities or counties have their own open data portals where you might find population data for Tucson. Try searching for "Tucson open data" or "Pima County open data" to see if any government websites provide access to these datasets.

In general, be sure to experiment with different search terms and try different sources beyond just the Census Bureau's website to find the specific data you are seeking.
