Rewriting sentences with nouns and replacing them with pronouns.. The boys wanted to give a dad a gift.

  • 1st grade -

    You can replace "boys" with "they." Replace "dad" with "him."

    They wanted to give him a gift.

  • 1st grade -

    You can also replace "gift" with "it."

    They wanted to go give him it.
