I have got differential pressure from an inclined manometer to be 2.8kPa and density of the fluid is 784kg/m^3. I need to calculate the manometer datum height. how do i do tht?? i already did it using formula pressure=density*g*h but i want ans to be 0.165 meters which i dnt get thnx for the help in advance.

To calculate the manometer datum height, you can use the equation pressure = density * gravity * height. However, you mentioned that you already used this formula and did not get the expected result. Let's double-check your calculation:

Given:
Differential pressure (ΔP) = 2.8 kPa = 2800 Pa
Density (ρ) = 784 kg/m^3
Acceleration due to gravity (g) = 9.8 m/s^2
Manometer datum height (h) = ?

Rearranging the formula: height = ΔP / (ρ * g)

Substituting the given values:
height = 2800 Pa / (784 kg/m^3 * 9.8 m/s^2)

Calculating this:
height = 2800 / (784 * 9.8) ≈ 0.359 meters

According to the calculation, the manometer datum height should be approximately 0.359 meters, not 0.165 meters as you expected.

It's possible that there was an error in your calculation or in the values you used. To verify, please recheck your numerical values and make sure they are accurate.
