If you hold a bar magnet in each hand and bring your hands together, will the force be attractive or repulsive if the magnets arte held so that
A) the tow north poles are brought close together?

B) a north pole and a south pole are brought together?

    Like poles repel, unlike attract.


    The term North pole, or South pole, is a very misleading and confusing term, to be avoided. Check your text on that. Most use the term N-pole, or S-pole, which means North seeking pole, or South seeking pole. Those are much more meaningful terms.
