Hi these are the problems I attempted, can someone tell me If I did them correctly? Thanks in advance3

An electrician needs 766 feet of 12-gauge wire to do a wiring job. He has 140 feet of 12-gauge wire in stock. How much more wire does he need?

A) 766 feet
B) 622 feet
C) 906 feet
D) 626 feet

766-140=626 ft

Evaluate the numerical expression. Round the answer to the nearest whole number.
812 ÷ 14 ÷ 2

A) 203
B) 116
C) 29
D) 58

812/14=58
58/2=29

Maggie bought 176 plants from the nursery, and she wants to plant 9 rows, each having 20 plants. However, after she starts placing the plants, she finds that she does not have enough. By how many did she fall short?

A) None
B) 6

All are correct except the last one. You have the numbers turned around.

She has 176 plants, but she needs 180.

oh okay so I jus need to subtract correct?

20*9=180
189-176=4
right?

Right.

Thank you. If you don't mind can you look over some more problems if available? I just want to ensure that I am doing the problems correctly

Sure. I'll check all of the problems that I can.

Thanks Ms. Sue

Perform the computation.
(-20) - (-1)
A) -19
B) -21
C) 21
D) 19

=-19

Compute the value:
|– 6 – 4|

=-10

Evaluate:
(–9)( –7)( –5)( –2)

A) 630
B) -630
C) -621
D) 621
(-63)(-10)=-630

David's company has to ship 3300 boxes of sprinklers. If a truck can hold 550 boxes, how many truckloads does he need to ship all the boxes?

A) 6 truckloads
B) 4 truckloads
C) 5 truckloads
D) 7 truckloads

550*6=3330
6 trucks needed

Write the decimal as a fraction in lowest terms.
0.014
14/1000=7/500

Compute the difference. Express the answer in simplest form

7/9-3/4
common denominator is 36(9*4)
I then multiplied the numerator (7*4=28)(3*9=27)
28/36-27/36=1/36

Perform the indicated operation. Express your answer as a whole or mixed number or as a fraction in simplest form
14 4/7 + 2 5/7 +20 1/7
Since the demoninators are the same I added straight across
14+2+20=36
4+5+1=10 and the denominator is 7 which equals to 36 10/7 which is an improper fraction. so i multiplied 36*7+2 =262/7. 262 divided by 7 is 37 3/7

Divide. Express your answer in simplest form.

2 4/7 divided by 9
I treated the problem as a improper fraction so I multiplied 7*2+4=18
7*9=63...so my fraction now is 18/63=2/7

Solve the proportion:
p/17.5=4/10

A) 3.5
B) 8
C) 7
D) 14
17.5/10=1.75
1.75x4=7
x=7

Thank you so much for helping to assiting me Ms. Sue. I think I got all of the problems pretty much correct. I just wanted my answer to be double check.

Congratulations. All are correct!

I cant thank you enough, Ms. Sue! I hope you have a wonderful evening

You're very welcome, Tasha. You have a great evening, too.

Actually this one is incorrect.

Compute the value:
|– 6 – 4|

=-10

The answer is 10. The lines are absolute value signs which means you can never have a negative answer (unless there is a negative sign outside of the absolute value lines.
