The sides of a square were reduced from 10 cm to 7.5 cm. What is the percentage decrease in the area of the square?

  • MATHS -

    10 * 10 = 100 sq. cm

    7.5 * 7.5 = 56.25 sq. cm

    100 - 56.25 = 43.75

    43.75/100 = ?

    Convert the decimal answer to a percent.
