a) If Rebecka received $6,500 from the sale of securities, what amount should Cody receive?


b) What amount should Rebecka receive from the sale of her parents' boat for $24,000?

    There 17 total parts. Cody gets 3 of those parts and Rebecka gets 6.

    a) $6,500 = 6/17 X

    Cody gets 3/17 X

    Or you could say Cody gets half of what Rebecka gets.
