please give me step by step instructions on how to solve the following equations; x-y=3 and -x+4y=9 I am trying to graph the coordinates.

  • algebra -

    for x-y=3 add y to both sides then subtract three from both sides.

    For x+4y=9 subtract x from both sides then divide everything by 4.
