12 is wrong, unless your text is 10 years old. No other answers are right. B is almost right, but the wrong year, and the use of the word "colony".

10 is a pitiful question. The Great leap forward was about Industrialization, and how to fund it. Agriculture was looked to be a cash cow to fund it, so agriculture and rural economies were squeezed tightly to get cash. B is only right if one considers the purpose of this was to allow the state to buy (at very low prices) the goods from the ag sector, then sell them (at inflated prices) back as foodstuffs, and to use the profit to fund industrialization. The author of this question has to be aware of this.

And number 6?

It's hard to quantify "most." According the CIA World Factbook, 43% of China's workers are in agriculture, leaving the rest divided between services and manufacturing. Therefore, B must be correct.

For question 6, you are correct, the majority of the labor force in East Asia works in farming. To arrive at this answer, you can eliminate options (a), (c), and (d) as they are not as prevalent in East Asia. Mining, for example, may be significant in certain countries, but it is not the primary labor force occupation across the region. Aquaculture, while important in some countries, is also not as widespread as farming. Therefore, option (b) farming is the most accurate choice.

For question 10, you selected option (b) "by combining China's collectives into self-sufficient People's Communes." This answer is not correct. The Great Leap Forward, which took place in China from 1958 to 1962, aimed to rapidly transform China's economy and society with ambitious industrial and agricultural programs. The correct answer is option (a), "by replacing private ownership of farms with common ownership." During this period, private farms were abolished, and the collective farming system was implemented, where land was owned and worked by groups of people. This would supposedly increase production and create a more equitable society.

For question 12, you selected option (a) "it is jointly governed by both Britain and China." This answer is incorrect. The correct answer is option (d) "it was leased to the British but became a part of China in 1997." Hong Kong was a British colony from 1842 to 1997 when the lease expired, and sovereignty was transferred back to China. Since then, Hong Kong has operated under a "one country, two systems" principle, where it maintains a high degree of autonomy with its own legal and economic systems while being part of China.

I hope this helps clarify the correct answers to the questions. Let me know if you have any further questions!
