Before you write a paper you do an outline. I did so. Under one of my sections I have an A B C. When I type my paper are those all separate paragraphs?

Yes, almost always they will be separate paragraphs. Just remember that a paragraph should consist of several sentences (at least 4?).

Thank you just wanted to double check!!

You're welcome.

When formatting your paper based on an outline, whether the sections labeled A, B, and C should be separate paragraphs depends on the structure and content of your outline.

In general, if your outline sections A, B, and C represent distinct ideas or subtopics within a larger section, then it is advisable to treat them as separate paragraphs in your paper. Each paragraph should address one main point or idea, providing explanations, evidence, or examples to support it.

However, if sections A, B, and C within your outline are closely related and sequential, and combining them into a single paragraph would enhance the flow of your paper, you may choose to do so. In this case, you can use subheadings, indentation, or other formatting techniques to differentiate the subtopics within the paragraph.

Ultimately, the decision on whether to break sections A, B, and C into separate paragraphs or combine them depends on the logical organization and coherence of your ideas. Consider the clarity, coherence, and readability of your paper while making this decision.
