What would happen if all the clocks in the world were to stop for seventy-two hours.
There would be a lot of confusion. Actions requiring more specific timing could not be coordinated. (Imagine trying to arrange a meeting with someone else.)
It is probably too short a time period to lead to production of sundials and hour glasses.
