I don't quite understand the meaning of the story "Score/Score" by Phyllis Gotlieb. I can't seem to find much about it on the internet.

The teaching machine has feelings and thoughts. The robots have similiar behaviours as humans. Teaching machine hates his job and feels its talents are being wasted teaching grade six english. Teaching machine was betrayed by another robot when he was tricked into thinking that the other robot was one of its students.

Best story i've had to read in school. The meaning i took from it is that AIs and "thinking machines" are more human in their behavior than we assume them to be

example: the teaching machine hates its job and feels its talents are wasted on teaching grade 6 english

there is verisimilitude in the story and i think the story is about the thought of machines developing souls and thoguhts of there own ...

what is the mood of the story?

There is no copy of it online, and from what I can tell it probably has a copyright from 2006. What this means is that you are highly unlikely to find any analysis, summary, discussion, etc., about it online yet. Copyrights last for 70 years or more!!

Oh haha alright.

Thanks for your help! :)

Sorry!

Not everything's online yet!! =)
