My presentation: My name is Austin and the title of my article is Vavenby wants time for mines before school closed. The newspaper it came from is the Kamloops Daily newspaper. Who= Vavenby school board trustees, what= The board is closing the school and trying to maintain their budget, where= Vavenby, British Columbia, Canada, when= this year, why= because the mill has shut down and people are moving away. Something that interests me in this article is that how young students have to abandon their school and get used to a new one, which will be tough to do for youngsters. My thoughts on this are that I totally disagree with the Vavenby School Board Trustees, I agree with the disagreers for this decision. This decision will definetly cripple the community.

Ms. Sue could you please help me kind of change what I wrote for number 6, I don't really like how I wrote it, could you change it around thanks.

Plus, please do tell me if you like this presentation:-)

This is excellent, Austin.

For the last few sentences, I've boldfaced my suggestions for changs.

My thoughts on this are that I totally disagree with the Vavenby School Board Trustees. If the school is closed, it will definitely cripple the community.

thank you so much:-)

You're very welcome. Have fun with your presentation.

Of course, I'd be happy to help you rephrase number 6. Here's a revised version:

"An aspect of this article that particularly catches my attention is the impact on young students who are forced to leave their familiar school environment and adjust to a new one. I find it concerning that these children will face significant challenges in adapting to the change. Personally, I strongly disagree with the decision made by the Vavenby School Board Trustees, and I align myself with those who oppose this course of action. I firmly believe that this decision will have a detrimental effect on the entire community."

As for your presentation, it looks well-organized and concise. You've provided the necessary details about the article, such as the title, the newspaper it's from, and the key information about who, what, where, when, and why. You've also shared your thoughts and made your stance clear. Overall, it seems like a well-structured presentation. Good job!
