Write 8/25 in Decimal (use the prime factorization of the denominator and explain if it repeats or terminates).

  • Math -

    8/25 = 32/100
    Convert that to a decimal.
    It won't repeat.

    I don't see what prime factorization has to do with it, but maybe another teacher will.

    Dividing 25 into 8 by long division will also get you the answer.
