What do I get when I change the fraction 38/8 to a mixed number and reduce to its lowest terms?

• Math -

Divide:

38 / 8 = 4 6/8 = 4 3/4

• Math -

8 * 4 = 32
8 * 5 = 40
so it is 4 and some fraction
38 - 32 = 6
so it is
4 6/8
but 6/8 = 3/4
so it is
4 3/4

check
4 * 4 + 3 = 19
19/4 = 38/8 check
