When should a patient be advised of the existence of computerized databases containing medical information about the patient?

    When he/she is first becoming a patient of the doctor, clinic, or whatever. That is information that is usually given when you do your very first bunch of paperwork at a new place/doctor. If you don't like it, then don't continue with that facility or doctor. Find another.
