Hi,

so I'm really good in German, but I'm having trouble with this...

we're given a sentence that includes a preposition, and we have to fill in the article for the noun following the preposition.

EX:
Warum hast du dein Auto nicht vor ___ Haus geparkt?

Now, i understand that the article will be in the dative case if it is answering the question "Wo", or where, and if it shows location. I also know it will be in the accusative case if it answers the question "Wohin", whereto, and if it shows movement. However, I still can't tell. can anyone help me on any of these?

QUESTIONS:
1. Warum hast du dein Auto nicht vor ___ Haus geparkt?
2. Der Bus hält hinter ___ Schule an.
3. Er stellt sein Rad zwischen ___ Auto und ___ Motorrad.
4. Wir sind über ___ See geschwommen.
5. Hast du Lust, auf ___ Fussballplatz zu gehen?
6. Die Gäste sitzen an ___ Tisch.
7. Bleibt ihr bis drei Uhr in ___ Schule?
8. Die Zeitung liegt unter ___ Stuhl.
9. Die Touristen treffen sich vor ___ Bahnhof.
10. Um wie viel Uhr gehen Sie in ___ Kino?
11. Siehst du das schöne Bild über ___ Klavier?
12. Der Briefträger stehr vor ___ Tür.

    # 3 should be "das Auto und das Motorrad", since "stellt" shows directed motion
#8 should be "dem Stuhl" since "Stuhl" is masculine
