which of the followin has a solution set of {5,2}
A)X^2+3X10=0
B)X^23X=10
C)X^2+3X=10
D)X^23X+10

mmmmh, I guess we should try if the given solution works,
I will do one of them, B)
if x= 5, LS = 25  3(5) = 40
RS = 10 , so NOPE!
remember if x=5 would have worked you would still have to check for x=2
now you try the others.
