Laws that treat men and women differently:

A. are always constitutional.
B. are always unconstitutional.
C. may be upheld by the Supreme Court if the meet certain criteria.
D. may be passed by Congress, but not the states.

My book says absolutely nothing about this, but I was thinking that it might be A because there is nothing really in the constitution that absolutely guarantees women's rights like for example the amendment that makes slavery illegal.

Any thoughts?

It must be C. Check this site.
