Can you please explain to me what this means? I'm really confused. Thank you for your help. It's greatly appreciated

It has been argued that creating a clone so that its tissues can be transplanted into the original person cheapens life and makes the cloned embryo simply a means to an end.

This statement raises the argument about producing a potential human being. Is it morally and ethically right to create an organism that could develop into a human? Does curing or alleviating a physical condition in a person warrant creating and then killing an embryo to do so?

Does it make life cheap -- and not sacred? Can any human life be used to save another?

Remember, though, that many people do not consider an embryo a human being. It will only become fully human under the right conditions.
