if a parallelogram is sectioned by two traversals into four smaller parallelograms prove that two of them are equal in area.

    The two traversals must be parallel to sides if four parallelograns are created. If neither traversal is midway between parallel sides, what you are trying to prove is not necessarily true.

    Perhaps I am not interpreting the question correctly
