I need a some topics that I can write a novel on, one that would interest teens and would be easy to write about. There is no limit to how long it can be so any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

MC.... Here is where YOUR experience as a teenager is invaluable. What are problems teens NOW face? What questions do your friends have? What do they want to change?
The writers, who are most successful and who people enjoy reading, write from their experiences or the experiences of those with whom they are acquainted.
<G> We teachers here are a long way from being teenagers, but I think there are some common themes for teens of all time: self image, relationships with friends, the opposite sex, dreams of the future.
True that is, but I myself havn't quite experienced this yet as I am only 13 as are my friends... I understand what you're saying though and would like to know if there are any links you can give me to help me out with this? Thanks Guru, i can always count on you! =]

I have, just I don't feel they're important enough..what I mean to say is that I need a different topic about you know a teen facing a different problem.

Good heavens, of course they're important. Nearly everyone faces these emotions and situations. Besides, I'm sure you don't have the experiences to write convincingly about "bigger" problems like child abuse, drug addiction, depression, or anorexia.
A couple of other suggestions -- problems of attending school with others or internet addiction.

You're welcome. Good luck with your novel -- and remember that authors write and rewrite and rewrite until they are satisfied enough with their work to show it to anyone else.
MC, I had a REALLY neat weird idea. How about a girl who is controlled by a voice in an old doll she has on her bed? That could either be a mystery novel or a comic novel...depending on how you wanted to "play" it.
What are some funny or weird things the doll might want? What are the results of the girl trying to please the doll? How does the girl solve the problem? I think this might be fun to write.
