solve for x and y when 5x-3y-2=0 and 7x+y=0.
Please this is sooo hard. no clue how to do it. please show me how to do it.
5x - 3y = 2
7x + y = 0
Triple the last equation (both sides)
21x + 3y = 0
Add the first and third equations:
26x = 2
x = 1/13
5/13 - 3y = 2 = 26/13
3y = -21/13
y = -7/13
