You can learn how to tie a necktie following these steps. To get started you will need to select a necktie of your choice and stand in front of a mirror. First, start with the wide end of the tie on your right and extending about 12 inches below the narrow end on the left. Then cross the wide end over the narrow end bringing the wide end up through the loop between the collar and your tie, bringing the wide end back down. Now pull the wide end underneath the narrow end and to the right, going back through the loop and to the right again so that the wide end is inside out. Next bring the wide end across the front from right to left pulling the wide end up through the loop and bringing it down through the knot in front. Complete by using one hand to pull the narrow end down gently while using the other hand to move the knot up until it reaches the center of the collar. Congratulations you did it.
