I need to do a powerpoint on a career. I have to find information on the web about that career.

One of the slide requirements was to include a bibliography.

So, I'm wondering what does a bibliography for a powerpoint include?

Do I need to include the sources I used to gather the information for the powerpoint?

Thank you for your time.

If you include information from one source on one slide I would put the reference on that slide. Otherwise I put the bibliography on a slide at the end. I don't tend to project the bibliography slide, but include it in the handouts.

A bibliography for a PowerPoint presentation includes all the sources you used to gather information about the career you are presenting. It is important to properly credit and acknowledge the sources you consulted to maintain academic integrity and avoid plagiarism.

To create a bibliography for your PowerPoint presentation, you can follow these steps:

1. Identify the sources you used: Gather the information about the books, articles, websites, or any other sources that provided you with the information you included in your presentation.

2. Format the bibliography: You can follow a specific citation style such as MLA, APA, Chicago, or Harvard. Make sure to check with your instructor or your institution's guidelines to know which citation style to use.

3. Include relevant details: For each source, include the author's name, title of the source (article, book, website, etc.), publication date, publisher, and the URL (if applicable).

4. List the sources: Arrange the sources in alphabetical order based on the author's last name or the title of the source if no author's name is available.

5. Create a slide for the bibliography: In your PowerPoint presentation, create a new slide titled "Bibliography" or "References" and list the sources you gathered in the desired citation style.

By including a bibliography, you demonstrate that you have conducted credible research and give credit to the authors or creators of the information you used.

Remember, always double-check with your instructor or institution's guidelines to ensure you are following the appropriate format for your bibliography.
