During the winter break I stayed at home. I spent time with my family. I studied for my final exams and worked on my extra credit. I had time to organize my room and clothes. You put some Spanglish in the Spanish ! Each night we light the candlas = Cada noche encendimos las velas, etc. = Here the English part was fine.
Just put a period at the very end of the Spanish. Everything else is fine. As for "comma or y" leave it as it is.
