prove the identity: (tan theta)/(csc theta) + 1/(sec theta)= sec theta

  • pre-calc -

    I will use x instead of theta for simpler typing
    LS = sinx/cosx(sinx) + cosx
    = (sin^2 x + sin^2 x)/cos x after I found a common denomiator of cos x
    = 1/cos x
    = sec x
    = RS
