Write a proportion that is equivalent to the statement: If 3 gallons of gasoline cost $5.37, then 8 gallons will cost $14.32.
On this one I have know idea how to perform this equation looked for examples no luck can someone help please

3/5.37 = 8/14.32
If you cross multiply and don't end up with identical numbers on each side of the equals sign, then the proportion is off.
