Which is correct for the usuage of the Semicolon and why?
Please see my last answer. Then, tell us which sentence is correct. We'll be glad to check your answer.
i see that there is 2 independent clauses, so i would use the semicolon, but the word between the 2 clauses, worse ye: or worse yet, is what is throughing me off.
Since "worse yet" is not an independent clause, you only need one semicolon in this sentence.
that's what i was thinking but i just wanted to make sure. Thank you
You're welcome. :-)
