I am just wondering why my posting entitled assortment seems to not be there any longer. It was dated Tuesday November the 18th. Has anyone had the opportunity to read it yet?
1) I am now leaning more specifically toward a philosopher, theologian, or mystic from medieval Muslim Spain (the intersection of Islamic and European/ Roman Catholic Thought via that person et cetera). For example, Thomas Aquinas paired with Ibn Rushd (Averroes).
2) I guess I can keep asking about worthwhile books and/or topics about the American Revolutionary War and get back to you later if I "stumble".
3) I was looking for a book that points out the negative aspects of how America has become so commercialized and materialistic in recent years. Perhaps I did not communicate that perfectly. Let us keep in contact.
